Geography teaching has to offer more to students than just reproducible knowledge.
The affective aims of geography teaching appear in the students’ expected forms of behaviour in the first place (Bloom B. 1964). First and foremost their receptivity is meant by this, that is, their ability to take in knowledge and be interested in them. By motivating the pupils, these aims could be achieved.
Teaching in an engaging way has a great role. Playing a piece of music relating to the material can be the source of inspiration for students and it can make our lesson more colourful, too.
